4 Trends That Need To End

1.) Overall Pants

Now, don’t get me wrong, I can totally get behind the overall shorts and overall dresses becoming trendy again, but why would anyone ever willingly wear overall pants? Even in the prime overall era of the 1990s, as a small child, I was anti-overall pants, pro-overall shorts. Overall pants immediately make me think of a farmer, which I guess is good if that’s the look you’re aiming for, but otherwise, ditch the overall pants.

2.) Unbuttoned shorts

In the last few years, it has become the norm to see girls walking around with unbuttoned shorts in the summer time. This trend is, hands down, the most confusing and bizarre one. What exactly is the point in unbuttoning your pants and walking around in public like that? In my opinion, it just looks like you outgrew your shorts but refuse to buy new ones. The fact that doing this has been trendy for the last couple of years completely boggles my mind.

3.) Backless Shirts

Why, just why? Backless shirts just make simple things like wearing a bra endlessly complicated, and you’re really only getting half of a shirt for the same price, if not more, of a regular shirt or tank top. Pretty much any tank top you find in a store this summer will either be cropped, backless, or both. Can we please get back to normal tanktops, people?

4.) Knee High Gladiator Sandals

I honestly can’t think of more ridiculous looking shoes than knee high gladiator sandals… Personally, I hope people realize how bizarre these sandals look soon so this trend can be laid to rest and (hopefully) never resurrected.

Stay happy,
