5 Colors that Nailed It For Spring (And the nail tool you can’t live without!)

Spring is finally here! What better way to start off the season then having amazing nails?  My top five must have colors are perfect for any occasion and awesome to pair with any look. Whether you want something simple and cute, edgy and bright, or bold and chic, you’ll find it here.

I’m absolutely in love with anything pastel this spring, especially a creamy pink. Dot is a reliable go-to color for this season. Zoya’s 2014 spring collection, Awaken, is definitely worth checking out! This color can be purchased on their website Zoya.com or Amazon for $9. Love.

Sometimes when applying nail polish it just smells so bad. I mean, it really smells like I’m in an episode of Breaking Bad working with different chemicals. But Revlon has come to the rescue with its new collection, Revlon Parfumerie. Scented nail polish!! This beautiful coral shade featured above, Apricot Nectar, is not only perfect for spring and would look amazing paired with a coral lip, but it smells like fruity apricots too. You can find this at any local drugstore like Walmart or CVS for only $5. Amazing.

I Love Nail Polish does it riiiiiiiight this season. I’m all about the pastels, but when I want that little bit of edge, holographics are it this season. Pair it with a holographic clutch and you’re set. What better than this mint color, Princeton? It’s one of the many awesome ones featured in their 2014 spring collection on their website, ilnp.com for $12.50.

You’re my boy, Blue! But seriously, this is my blue. If you’re skeptical about such a bold color for spring, trust me, cobalt blue can do no wrong. Butler Please is from Essie’s 2012 winter collection, Leading Lady. However, it is so current and still one of the top rated colors. It’s definitely a must have for spring. It can be found at any local drugstore like Walmart or CVS for $8.50.

Radiant Orchid is Pantone’s Color of the Year and what better way to celebrate that for spring than ombre nails? Even though no one does ombre better than Jared Leto now, we can try. The New Black’s 5 piece ombre nail set in Haze can be purchased at Sephora or the brands website, thenewblack.tv. While it’s more on the pricier side, $22, it’s worth the money when you get five different nail polishes. The colors range from a very opaque pastel lavender to a dark violet with sheen. A total must-have for spring.

Florals are so spring. Although I loved pairing some floral with a leather legging during the winter, it’s time for the high waisted shorts and crop tops to emerge. What better way to add some floral to your outfit than with the cutest designs on your nails? It’s probably the easiest design that takes only minutes and looks so flawless when it’s done. Use Cheeky’s Dotting and Marbling Double Sided Nail Art Tools found on Amazon for only $6. It comes with 5 double sided pen-like tools and a carrying case. The simple and easy-to-use tools are the ultimate necessity to any spring nail look.
