With Super Bowl XLVIII over and won, there’s not much more to say about the game. Sure, years from now devoted football fans may remember the game’s final score, but most of us will only remember one thing…our favorite Super Bowl commercial. We at Trim have compiled a list of some of our absolute favorites from this year. Enjoy!
Budweiser’s “Puppy Love”
“The puppy love commercial was my absolute favorite. I’m not lying when I said I became a little teary eyed, but it might have been the sweetest love story.”
“Ellen DeGeneres’s Beats commercial was a cute take on Goldilocks and the Three Bears. I wish I had moves like Ellen!”
Coca Cola’s “America the Beautiful”
“This was my favorite because not only was it the first time a gay family was shown in a commercial, but it also shows recognition for how much of a melting pot our country is, and how important it is to be a global citizen.”
Oikos “Full House”
“This was my favorite commercial because who doesn’t love the Full House gang! They always were and always will be funny, no matter how old they get.”
Doritos “Time Machine”
“Doritos commercials always hit the nail on the head for me. They manage to fit hilarious scenarios into very short snippets of time. This one even has a dog and a cute little kid, so what’s not to love?”
Wonderful Pistachios “Stephen Colbert”
“Ingenious marketing. Quick, funny, and creative. I can’t even remember the commercial that was sandwiched between these two segments.”
—Sheldon(We remember that in-between commercial, Sheldon. It was a commercial featuring a scantily clad David Beckham…)
“Not only do I think this is the most clever campaigning ad of the Super Bowl, I have a giant crush on John Krasinski so any opportunity to see his beautiful face is a good thing. The winner of the $1.5 million will be announced tomorrow night on Jimmy Kimmel Live”
