We here at Trim, especially our Web & Blogging team, are the kind of girls who keep constantly plugged in. It should come as no surprise, then, that we decided to dedicate our Wednesday to the celebration of #WomanCrushWednesday. What started as a way to shout out to hot and/or inspirational women the world over on Instagram quickly turned into a mini-holiday of sorts and spread across nearly every social media platform imaginable. Here are just a few of the #WCW’s that my fellow bloggers, Rutgers students, and I are going to be sending out today.

Vanessa Hudgens –

“She’s got the most incredible bohemian style and I am madly in lust with her wardrobe. It’s hard not to be envious of the girl with flawless festival-esque style no matter what season it is.” #amen #nailedit

Candice Swanepoel-

“…because look at her.” #90000degrees #surfaceofthesunlevelhot

Samira, Instagram: @selk8

Audrey Hepburn-

“She is absolutely flawless both inside and out. She is the epitome of perfection and had one of the kindest hearts this world has ever seen. She will forever be my role model.” #eatyourheartoutgracekelly

Jenn, Instagram: @Jenn_kimx

Amy Adams-

“Redhead. .” #wellsaid

Salieu, Instagram: @salieubyron

“She makes really unique music and has proven that fashion and music go hand in hand. She is a branding genius, and has the most creative tweets out there! I would want her as a best friend.” #individualityisbeautiful

Nicole, Instagram: @killahklock

Rashida Jones-

“Not only is she a beautiful, stunning lady but she is extremely talented and smart. She was a Harvard graduate who worked so hard to get to where she is. She literally blew me away with her movie Celeste and Jesse Forever and I found it really inspirational that she did all of that herself. She also supports the Democratic Party in current elections and I think it’s great that she gets so involved with philanthropy as well as her work.” #impressed #annyoubeautifultropicalfish

Victoria, Instagram: @vtripz

Natalie Portman-

“She da best.” #agreed.

Andrew, Twitter: @AMickuhluh

Courtney Kerr-

“Okay mine is a guilty pleasure because I’m usually not one to obsess over reality TV – but I have such a style crush on Courtney Kerr from Courtney Loves Dallas on Bravo – she’s a fashion blogger who is now doing collaborations with a bunch of brands. Her style is so well put together, yet versatile. I wish I had her closet.” #bravocourtney!

Marisa, Instagram: @marisaflacks

Danaerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke)-

“I’m obsessed with the character Daenerys Targaryn in Game of Thrones played by Emilia Clarke. Emilia is beautiful with her natural hair color, but there’s just something about silver hair on her that makes her look radiant.” #April6th #!!!!!!!!

Kaitlin, Instagram: @kaityrog

Rachel McAdams-

“Because. (Yes the sentence ends there.)” #personallyvictimizedbyhowgorgeousrachelmcadamsis

Sarah, Instagram: @slizzy

Amy Poehler & Tina Fey-

“You know the saying “Appearances make impressions, but it’s the personality that makes the impact”? Well the impact that Poehler and Fey together make is extraordinary with their humor, intellect, wit and overall personality. Also fun fact, you know that Rutgers requested Prez Obama to speak for the 2016 Rutgers Commencement? Well I commented on Daily Targum’s fb article saying “Class of 2016 can keep Obama but Class of 2015 wants the power duo Amy Poehler and Tina Fey. I want a commencement speech that’s going to forever resonate in my mind of pure joy and laughter, not vaguely remember the first and last part of Obama’s speech.” #poehlerfey2015!

Khermesh, Instagram: @KBadushov

Jennifer Lawrence-

“She’s awesome, down to earth, funny and beautiful. Also, she takes shots before interviews and red carpet events, MAH GURL.” #jlawturnup

Sara, Instagram: @saraaamel

“Because her hips don’t lie and I don’t like liars!” #thatisalltruth

Lupita Nyong’o-

“This was a hard choice, because there are a ridiculous amount of women doing amazing things for the world right now, but Lupita Nyong’o is really having a moment, and she needs to be celebrated. For playing a slave girl named Patsey in Steve McQueen’s 12 Years A Slave (her first professional acting job, I might add) she has recieved 39 awards nominations, and won 30 of those awards. (two of those nominations are pending, the British Academy Film Awards and the Academy Awards.) To put that into perspective, in her career to date, Meryl Streep, arguably to most beloved and well-known actress of our time, has won 119 of her over 200 nominations. If Lupita continues to produce the kind of work she did in McQueen’s film, I think we can count on a new icon. She’s humble, articulate and incredibly sweet (videos of her acceptance speeches and interviews are all over the internet, watch one, they’re all great.) Finally, whoever her stylist is I need to meet them right away, because I have never seen such a collection of gorgeous, yet modern, perfectly tailored, and unique gowns as have been put on Lupita this awards season. I am dying.” #moviestarinthemaking
